We’ll hear from President Colin, who would like to discuss the BSOL website. Then we’ll review our photos – we decided on up to five per member, to illustrate the poem ‘My Country’, and select some for the newsletter. We have providentially received a YouTube clip of Dorothea Mackellar reciting her poem, with photographs, so we’ll look at that too. Then we’ll look at submissions for ‘shot of the month’. Please send all your shots to photos@bsol.asn.au, preferably by the preceding Sunday.
Our business for the day is to review the draft plan for 2020, which was circulated late last year and which is attached again. Would you print it and bring it along?
Everything is up for discussion – facilitators, photo/themes, topics/activities, and presenters. Hopefully we’ll come up with a revised version that will suit most of us , if not all.
Finally, we’ll need to set up arrangements for our March meeting.
If that doesn’t keep us busy enough, we’ll put a bit of time aside for our first ‘think tank’.
